3 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Use Pre-Made Lash Fans to Improve Lash Speed

Many people will ask us, “Can’t I just use pre-made fans to improve my lash speed?” At first, it may seem like pre-made fans are the answer to save time and energy, but we would never recommend them for volume lash techniques. Let’s dive into the 3 biggest reasons why and what we recommend to improve lashing speed instead.

Reason #1: Pre-Made Fans Already Have Glue

Pre-made lashes already have glue on them, so when you dip them in glue again you’ve created a thick root. That root can become uncomfortable for your client as the lashes start to grow out.

Reason #2: Pre-Made Will Never Look Dark

Dark lashes are created by narrow fans to create a uniform, dense look that creates a stunning top line. Pre-made fans have a wider opening that looks fluffy, which is nice. But you won’t be able to create that dense, darker look that is desired with volume lash techniques.

Reason #3: You Loose Control of the Lashing Process

Handmade lashes give you the most control over the lashing process. Every client’s lashes will be different, so using handmade lashes allow you to create custom looks that fit your client’s natural lashes. Pre-made lashes make it harder to customize your technique and application for each individual need.

So, How Can I Improve My Lashing Speed?

While using pre-made lashes is tempting to improve lash speed, you’ll never be able to create the best volume lashes without handmade lashes. That’s why we recommend the Tailor Lash Machine. This device allows you to pull up to 10 lashes per fan within a second – giving you all the benefits of handmade lashes with the speed and efficiency of pre-made lashes.

When it comes to improving lash speeds, don’t sacrifice quality for speed. Pre-made lashes seem good in theory, but you’re losing out on technique quality. More practice and better tools are the real secret to creating fast, volume lashes.
